Roy Shaw- Brown Belt

Coach Roy has studied multiple forms of martial arts, but his passion is in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, founded by the Gracie family from Brazil.  It's his passion to help people become self-confident, self-controlled, and healthier individuals so that they can be the best person, professional, and citizen that they can be.

Coach Roy Shaw has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2008 under Professor Clint Crabtree, a 3rd-degree black belt.

Roy has earned his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Professor Crabtree, where he continues to study on his journey to black belt.  The brown belt is an advanced level belt and accredits Roy to coach new students and continuing students from any background.

In addition to the brown belt, Roy earned his red belt in Tae Kwon Do, which is an advanced belt.  Roy is a well-recognized educator and is co-founder and CEO of ProTrainings.com, a leading provider of continuing medical education.  Roy has authored and produced self-defense courses and especially loves to teach people in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense.
